For a wholesale supplier to be considered as worthy of being taken for a business partner, there are certain qualities the supplier must have. If the supplier lacks any of these qualities, you then will need to have a rethink about doing business with that supplier.

  • A good supplier must be very prompt. Remember that punctuality is the soul of business. Unnecessary delays can actually kill a business. You will need to check if the supplier is prompt in making delivery. If this is not so, you may need to reconsider your business relationship with the wholesale supplier.
  • Does the supply balances up with what is ordered? If this is not the case, then, you should be very careful about this wholesale supplier. The first thing you will need to find out when the supplier brings the supply is if the product ordered are the same as the ones supplied. Any discrepancy between the two is an indication of the inefficiency of the dropship supplier.
  • A qualitative wholesale supplier will be easy to contact. The “contact us” page on their website should contain enough information on how to contact them. If the information is not qualitative enough, you will need to be wary.
  • You also will need to find out how easily reachable the telephone numbers of the company are. If you are beset with an unreachable line about three out of four trials, you will need to think well before you go ahead to do business with the company.
  • Does the company charge you excessively for services rendered? It won’t be advisable then for you to continue doing business with the wholesale supplier. You will need to remember that you are in this business also to make profit. If a large chunk of your profit is taken away by the wholesale supplier, you will need to reconsider your business relationship with them and look for another supplier of the same quality but cheaper rate.
